As a seasoned 10-year veteran of the food processing industry, Adam brings a wealth of expertise and a growth mindset to Nelson-Jameson. Adam leverages his experience to build and maintain strong, profitable relationships with customers and focuses on developing customized solutions, such as Customer Managed Inventory (CMI) and Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI), to optimize customers' inventory levels and streamline operations.
Adam plays a strategic role in the organization, overseeing project and program management initiatives related to inventory solutions. He aims to drive growth by effectively executing customer-facing programs and ensuring inventory management practices align with the company's mission. He collaborates closely with sales, product, and operations teams to develop innovative solutions that meet unique customer needs.
Adam's duties include collaborating with various colleagues, leading client meetings and consultations, analyzing inventory data, designing and developing customized inventory management plans, managing projects, and maintaining accurate inventory data and reporting.
He is responsible for establishing and articulating a strategic vision for our VMI and IVS service offering, and aligning it with business objectives and growth initiatives. He also leads, mentors, and develops a high-performing team responsible for inventory analysis and operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Adam's prior roles include production line worker and cheese maker, inventory coordinator, and inventory control manager, assistant product manager/product manager and an assistant department manager.
Adam holds a degree from Mid-State Technical College and technical diplomas in Project Management, Human Resources Assistance, and Entrepreneurship. He possesses strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
