Jason J. Huff serves as the Executive Commercial Director-West at Nelson-Jameson, leading the commercial strategy and sales execution across all Western territories. His role is centered on developing the sales team, strengthening customer and supplier partnerships, and aligning the field teams with Nelson-Jameson’s core values and long-term growth objectives. Jason leads the Western Strategic Account Managers (SAMs), and closely with the Account Sales Representatives (ASRs), Specialists, and cross-functional teams to drive growth, expand strategic accounts, and optimize territory structures.
Huff focuses on ensuring strong cross-functional communication and alignment with supply chain, operations, product management, and marketing to guarantee customers receive reliable support and service. He engages with key accounts and suppliers to meet with customers, uncover needs, strengthen relationships, and align resources for ongoing projects.
With nearly 30 years of professional experience in the dairy industry, Huff has centered his career around supporting customers or internal teams in sales, sanitation, and dairy production. Growing up on a dairy farm in rural Maine, he has been involved with dairy his entire life. His diverse professional history includes roles such as Director of Corporate Accounts, Corporate Sanitation Director, Account Manager and District Manager, Production Manager, and Project and Plant Management.
Huff is deeply invested in the food and dairy community, serving on the board of the Intermountain Section of the Institute of Food Technologists (including as President/Chair in 2025). He holds a B.S. in Agricultural Sciences with a major in Mechanized Systems Management from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
