Kari Christophersen is a Product Manager in the MRO department at Nelson-Jameson, where she manages the Building and Facilities Maintenance line of products. This diverse product portfolio includes industrial vacuums, floor cleaning machines and matting, air and water filtration, lubricants, shelving, maintenance tools, pest control, and spill control. Her primary responsibility involves working directly with suppliers to offer a diverse selection of items that meet customer needs.
In her day-to-day functions, Christophersen reviews product offerings and identifies new opportunities based on customer feedback and industry trends. She regularly reviews item pricing to ensure competitiveness and is responsible for quoting and cross-referencing items for customer requests. Christophersen has been in the industry for three and a half years. She was inspired to work in this industry because of her grandfather, who was an owner/operator of a small dairy farm, which gave her a firsthand appreciation of where food comes from.
Prior to her current role as Product Manager, Christophersen started at Nelson-Jameson as a product administrator working across all four product departments, before being promoted to Technical Service Specialist in the MRO department. She is HACCP certified and co-hosted an educational workshop that focused on dry cleaning and color-coding for allergen control.
