Kirk Myers

Repair Technical Service Specialist

At Nelson-Jameson, Kirk Myers fixes and calibrates specialized lab gear, specifically focusing on M926 Chloride Analyzers and LM1 Luminometers. He handles repairs in person and helps customers troubleshoot issues over the phone or via email, ensuring they experience zero downtime.

The foundation for his technical skills comes from 20 years proudly serving as a U.S. Navy Sailor, with stations ranging from California to Bahrain. After his military career, he worked as a welder and a CNC lathe operator before landing his first food industry role as an automation technician installing plant equipment. He was drawn to the field because he loves seeing the mechanics of a plant—particularly how raw materials are transformed into finished products—and he brings that deep technical background to his current role.

To sharpen his hands-on experience, Kirk earned technical degrees in machine tooling and welding fabrication from CVTC. He’s known for his strong work ethic and his ability to pick up new systems fast. When working with such sensitive equipment, his strict attention to detail enables him to properly repair and calibrate precision gear every day.
