Amanda Hill is a Key Account Specialist with Nelson-Jameson. In her current role, she aims to provide a unified view of orders, as well as inside account management for key customer plants across the United States. She is responsible for ensuring that trends, cross-plant opportunities, and challenges are handled in alignment with the customers' initiatives and priorities at both the plant and corporate levels.
Hill strives to offer at least one proactive suggestion to customers daily, such as resolving a backorder, shortening a lead time, offering a cost savings alternative or helping to source hard to find items. She performs data analysis for both the customer and Nelson-Jameson, which includes internal GAP analysis and external sku consolidations. Amanda acts as a centralized hub for communication between plant-level customers, corporate contacts, and the Nelson-Jameson Sales Team members, while also contributing to corporate presentations and constantly seeking ways to improve Nelson-Jameson systems and tools for the Sales Team as well as customers.
Amanda’s first job in the industry was on her family’s dairy farm. At Nelson-Jameson, she has held positions including Technical Service Specialist, Product Manager (MRO - Building and Facility Maintenance), and Assistant Department Manager (MRO). She has also presented for the WCMA Safety Group on Combustible Dust and assisted in developing and hosting MRO workshops. Amanda holds an Advanced Dairy Manufacturing Certificate from Oregon State University.
