Incorporated in 1987, Friends of the Marshfield Public Library (FOMPL) was established as a non-profit organization to support and expand library services through volunteer, advocacy, and fund-raising activities.
Twice Told Tales, a FOMPL bookstore, resides inside the library and features bargain prices on approximately 4000 gently used children and adult books. Proceeds are used towards library services and programs, including Born to Read and Give a Kid a Book.
As a very active group, FOMPL encourages community engagement to support education, knowledge. and resources to embrace curiosity, critical thinking, and skillful research.
Anchoring many purposeful intentions, FOMPL and the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library both offer a place of relaxation and promote the enjoyment of reading. Libraries Change Lives.
