National Dairy Shrine

The National Dairy Shrine, located in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, was established in the mid-1940s after World War II. During the war, dairy farming was thriving, and there was optimism about the industry's future success.

National Dairy Shrine logoThe Shrine was created to promote the dairy industry, preserve its history, and bring together individuals who are passionate about maintaining the dairy heritage and ensuring the industry's continued strength. It encompasses all aspects of the dairy industry, including dairy producers, students, and marketers. The organization recognizes current leaders, provides scholarships and internships, and maintains essential resources for future generations. Each year, an awards and recognition banquet is held to induct members into the National Dairy Hall of Fame.
