Christy Ogurek is the Department Manager for Direct Products at Nelson-Jameson, providing strategic and operational leadership for the Packaging, Ingredients, and Chemicals (PIC) department. She oversees product managers and administrative staff, driving category growth and ensuring that pricing and inventory meet service level expectations. Her daily responsibilities include working with her team to manage strategic supplier relationships, source products to meet customer specifications, and responding to internal staff, customers and suppliers to resolve inquiries and requests.

Christy has been involved in the industry indirectly since 1996. Her diverse background includes serving as Vice President of Product Marketing and Development and Print Operations Manager. She holds an Associate Degree in Marketing from Mid-State Technical College and has earned multiple certifications, including Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (FDA), Dale Carnegie Certification, and a diploma in General Banking.
