Janine Mercer serves as a Laboratory Product Manager at Nelson-Jameson. With 30 years of experience in the industry, Janine began her career as a Laboratory Technician at a Food and Environmental Laboratory. Her prior roles include Laboratory Manager, Operations Manager, Laboratory Supervisor, and Senior Lab Specialist. Janine was drawn to this career path by her passion for ensuring the integrity and safety of our food supply. She is driven by the desire to implement and support practices that allow people to enjoy the foods they love without concern for their safety.
Throughout her extensive career, Janine has achieved significant accomplishments, including implementing an SAP program and developing and chairing the Safety Committee for AgSource Laboratories. She also graduated from the AgSource REACH Leadership Program and participated in an FDA-led Jersey Cow Study in China. Currently, she serves as the Vice President of the Wisconsin Lab Association. Janine is a member of the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Lab Association.
